A relaxed introduction to watercolour painting. Spend an afternoon learning the basics of watercolour painting. Don't worry if you're not an artist, the class is perfect for beginners. You will be led step-by-step to ensure you produce a series of cute polaroid style watercolour paintings.

Want to use the creative side of your brain for an afternoon, and learn some basics of acrylic painting? Begin to understand how to mix colours and the difference between cool and warm colours.
Spend a relaxed afternoon or Friday evening starting to explore acrylic painting and produce your own canvas painting.

A more detailed botanical study, learn how to build an image in layers and working with colour.
Have an evening or afternoon with friends with a difference. Any group of 5 - 12 people can book the space and decide your own workshop: watercolour, acrylic or printmaking.

Ana Robson is a Visual Arts teacher and practising artist
She studied a Bachelor of Fine Art at National Art School specialising in painting, as well as studying at Glasgow Art School.
Ana has taught visual art at local high schools and conducted workshops here in Coonamble, including oil painitng, watercolour, acyrlic and life drawing.
Our Scout Artspace workshops are designed to be practical and fun, hands-on experience in a range of mediums from oil painting to watercolour. Our program of workshops is constantly evolving to reflect the communities need.
